About Akilea Estate
Located in a top surfing spot i.e. Uluwatu, Akilea Estate is a luxury resort meant for the best tropical holiday with friends and family. A sprawling property comprising five, private, luxury villas, the Estate is home to five swimming pools and fourteen, well-furnished bedroom suites for a lavish gathering, private event, or simply a long-awaited holiday. Surrounded by lush gardens, the villas have been designed by French architects who worked towards achieving a blend of the traditional with the modern!
Outdoor and Pool Area
The largest of five villas – Villa Khajuraho, is home to a sprawling swimming pool that spills over to a wading pool meant for children. There is even a BBQ area and alfresco dining for the perfect afternoon grill! Villa Lalita and Villa Kabutera are both home to private pools with access to lush green gardens as well.
Villa Markisa Pecatu has another swimming pool that adjoins to a kiddie pool, great for families. Villa Kayu Merah set amidst freshly-cut grass that only adds to the natural ambiance of the place. Surrounded by lush tropical foliage, all five villas are meant to provide an exclusive outdoor space for the utmost relaxation.
Each of the five villas at Akilea Estate has been designed with great care taking in aspect from Balinese culture including reclaimed teak wood and traditional alang-alang ceilings that pitch high in the sky and merging them with modern comforts such as plush, white couches, overhead lighting, air-conditioning, and others. The living areas features traditional décor and are found beside the swimming pools so guests can have a pleasant view as they relax in the comfort of this space. Some living areas even offer a working space, bookshelves, as well as vibrant artwork on the walls.
For five villas, there are five dining areas that have their assigned space in the living rooms. With four-seater, six-seater, and eight-seater dining tables, these are quite homely where guests can gather together to enjoy a hearty meal with their friends and family. The kitchens are open-plan with a breakfast bar and bar stools, as well as modern equipment for your use. The spacious layout of these living and dining areas allow for easy movement across the villa, as well as out on the garden, especially with a lot of people staying at once.

Some of these bedrooms are located in and around the gardens or pool, to give you ease of access in case you wish to step out at any time of the day, while some are found on the upper levels for an excellent view. The en-suite bathrooms are equally mesmerizing with a partially, open-air design, freestanding bathtubs and/or tropical rain showers surrounded by lush foliage.
Staff and Services
With a team of fifteen employees to look after guests as well as the estate’s upkeep and management, the guests can relax and enjoy a fun time while they take care of everything. There is housekeeping, security, chef, pool and garden maintenance that is all managed by the staff. For special requests, such as in-house massages, babysitting, laundry etc. the staff is happy to make arrangements however, at additional cost.

With an ideal location atop the Bukit Hills of Uluwatu, the Estate is close to the famous Uluwatu Temple, which is a must-visit stop for travellers. For a fun day out, head to the many beaches of Uluwatu like Dreamland, Padang Padang, and Blue Point.
