About Villa Alang-Alang
Villa Alang-Alang is a vacation compound which consists of two pavilions illustrating the aesthetic blend of traditional Balinese architecture – with its prominent alang-alang thatch roofs – and eclectic tropical design. Interiors are appointed with furnishings, fixtures and pieces manifesting a variety of design influences – period, woven wood and shabby chic. Amenities are discriminatingly five star – for all-out guest delight and enjoyment. Truly, Villa Alang-Alang provides you exotic vacation living with an appeal that’s definitely nostalgic and laid-back.
Outdoor And Pool Area
Along the verdant wall of the lush garden is the 12-meter swimming pool. From anywhere you may be in the villa, you can, on a whim, plunge into its inviting, crystal clear waters for some aimless wading, or for some splashy play. For some sun, you can lie on cushioned, woven wood pool beds on the poolside wooden deck. But as soon as the rays begin to burn, withdraw to the shade of the large umbrella and sit back on cushioned, woven wood chairs as you sip your favorite tropical drink.
The Living Space
At the semi-open, breezy and high-ceilinged common areas of both pavilions are living areas with long, cushioned, woven wood sofas facing widescreen TVs. Here, you can all hang out to catch shows you’ve been closely following, replay your best-loved classic films, or to lively interact. At one end of these common areas are dining areas with wooden tables – each good for six. At any of these dining areas, you can all savor authentic Balinese cuisine – as well as your most requested comfort food – whipped up by the in-house chef at these common areas’ modern kitchens delineated with counters. Provided with stools, these counters double as bars for breakfast, quick snacks, coffee and all kinds of drinks.
The villa has three bedrooms. The master bedroom is in one of the pavilions. This bedroom has a canopied and draped king-sized bed. Two more bedrooms are in the villa’s other pavilion. One bedroom has a canopied and draped king-sized bed. The other bedroom has a canopied and draped queen-sized bed. All bedrooms have dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with bathtubs and rain showers. However, only two bedrooms – the master bedroom and one guest room – have direct access to furnished, covered terraces, to the garden’s well-kept lawn and to the swimming pool.
Staff And Services
On duty to deliver the day-to-day services of the villa is a staff made up of housekeepers and security personnel. In addition to the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may, upon your request, be called in. Their services will be charged separately however. Scooter and car rentals are also available.
