About Villa Bakung
Villa Bakung is an oceanfront vacation compound that’s comprised of three pavilions showcasing posh contemporary coastal design. Interiors, with a complementary white and blue color scheme as well as wood lattice as the constant design element, are appointed with predominantly bleached, weathered and woven wood furnishings. Amenities are deliberately first rate – assuring absolute guest convenience and diversion. Laid out along Bali’s eastern shoreline, Villa Bakung offers you luxury living in a seaside and quiet setting.
Outdoor And Pool Area
The property’s exterior landscaping is beautifully balanced between a well-kept lawn and the 17-meter infinity pool. Somersault into its beckoning, glassy waters which creates the illusion of flowing out to sea. If you wish to bathe, instead, in the sun, you can stretch out on cushioned, woven wood pool beds partially covered by large umbrellas on the poolside stone deck. Part of the property is a private strip of powdery sand – ideal for festive beach bonfires especially on chilly evenings.
The Living Space
At the villa’s semi-open, spacious, breezy and high-ceilinged main pavilion is the living area. At any of its three sitting set ups with cushioned, woven wood couches and weathered wood reclining chairs, you can all assemble for amusing and animated sharing and storytelling. There are two dining areas. The indoor dining area – with its long, timber wood table good for eight – is by the poolside entrance of the main pavilion. While the alfresco dining area – also with a long, timber wood table good for eight – is at another pavilion at the edge of the property – right by the beach. Wherever you prefer to dine at, you can all feast on authentic local specialties – as well as Western staples – whipped up by the in-house chef at the fully-equipped, ultra-modern kitchen partially enclosed by shelves beside one of the living area’s sitting set ups.
There are four bedrooms – all in the villa’s two-level pavilion. Two bedrooms are on the second level, while the other two bedrooms are on the ground level. All bedrooms have canopied and draped king-sized beds, as well as semi-open bathrooms with free standing bathtubs and rain showers. Second level bedrooms open out to furnished balconies with picture-perfect ocean views. While ground level bedrooms have direct access to the swimming area.
Staff And Services
Tasked to render the villa’s everyday services is a well-trained staff that’s comprised of a personal guest assistant, a pool attendant, a gardener as well as housekeepers and security personnel. In addition to the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may, upon your request, be called in. However, their services come with a separate charge. Bike, scooter, car and boat rentals are also available.
