About Villa Cahaya
Villa Cahaya is a royal abode perched atop a 700-metre high cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean in stunning Uluwatu. The neighbourhoods of Kuta and Seminyak only a short drive away, the villa is serenity and elegance materialised and etched in natural stone, solid locally-sourced wood, and verdant tropical gardens. With six bedrooms, the villa is excellent for those looking to hold a wedding or reception with friends and family as the grounds are well-suited for private events. You will find ample corners and stunning spots around the villa that permit you to make the most of an even more spectacular view.
Outdoor and Pool Area
The villa is built over multiple floors and the architecture is all-inclusive with all elements of life interwoven in its very core. The 21-metre swimming pool is an infinity-edge swimming pool that looks out at the endless seas while perpendicular to it stands the pond strewn with pebbles. Trees and plants that thrive in the tropical weather stand tall and proud under the sun all around the villa.
The clear, blue skies are dappled with fluffy clouds giving you one of the most splendid views you’ll be taking with you. You can enjoy this and much more from the comfort of sun chairs on the deck and a step lower right on the edge of the cliff stands a bale with daybeds and stone benches around it.
Villa Cahaya features a Joglo-style pavilion for its living area with a spectacular wooden ceiling, luxurious interiors, glass doors that open outwards to the pool, and splendid furnishings. Furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, the living room is really opulent and well-decorated with handpicked artwork, decorative lamps, and vibrant side tables. From the main living room, one can head towards the media lounge with a flat-screen, DVD, and comfortable seating.
There is a dining area beside the seating in the living room where guests can dine in style on the well-upholstered chairs while also enjoying the view outside the glass doors. A well-stocked bar is found in the corner of the room with stools et al. to grab a drink or two. Guests of the villa are free to use the fitness room and tennis courts outdoors as well especially if you wish to burn off some that extra helping at dinner. Alfresco dining is possible as well with a setup found outside on the patio with an ocean view.
Weathered-look furniture, sprawling views across the land and ocean, luxurious, five-star interiors, and much more is what you get in the two master suites at Villa Cahaya. Found upstairs with an attached balcony and en-suite bathroom, the master bedrooms deserve a special mention for their classic opulence so evident in the four-poster bed frame carved out of solid wood, upholstered walls, and selective artwork. For one bedroom, the bathroom comprises a sunken stone bath, while the other consists a freestanding bathtub.
Four en-suite bedrooms are equally luxurious found around the villa furnished with king beds and single beds. Each bed is a wooden Balinese marvel for extra comfort and a good night’s rest. The fourth bedroom is special for it is located somewhere in the garden with its own entrance leading to a personal garden and plunge pool.
