About Villa Gili Bali Beach
Villa Gili Bali Beach is a cluster of three pavilions that embody stylish Balinese beachfront architecture and design. Interiors – with a consistent white and blue color scheme – are appointed with mostly beautifully crafted woven wood furnishings blended with classic and elaborate pieces, as well as adorned with traditional figures, patterns and fixtures. Amenities are deliberately first rate – to assure each and every guest’s absolute convenience and enjoyment. Truly, Villa Gili Bali Beach accords you classy coastal living with an air that’s exotic and distinctively Balinese.
Outdoor And Pool Area
At the center of the property’s exterior – perpendicular to both the villa’s main pavilion and the beach – is the 20-meter swimming pool. After a morning dip in the ocean, continue your communion with your favorite natural element in the swimming pool’s alluring, crystal clear waters. Since you’d find it difficult to leave the waters’ embrace, you can just wade to the pool’s swim-up bar, sit on one of the underwater stools and enjoy a cool fruity drink. If you wish to bathe, instead, in the sun, laze on the large bean bags on the wooden deck by the beach, the sunbeds on the sand, or on wide cushions on the stone deck surrounding the pool. As soon as the rays begin to burn, retreat to the shade of the poolside contemporized bales and doze off on soft mattresses – lulled by the sound of waves greeting the shore. Especially on hot mid-afternoons, ease your aching muscles with a traditional Balinese massage under the shade of the bale by the beach, beside the wooden sunbathing deck.
The Living Area
On the airy, semi-open, spacious ground floor of the main pavilion is the living area with its cushioned couches formed from stone – one facing the swimming pool and the beach, while the other facing a widescreen TV. Here, you can all assemble for amusing and animated sharing and storytelling, to catch TV shows you’ve been closely following, or to watch, for the nth instance, your all-time favorite classic film. By the poolside entrance to the main pavilion is the dining area. On its four, woven wood, glass-topped tables that can be joined together to form a large square table which accommodates 12, you can all feast on authentic Balinese cuisine – as well as your most requested comfort food – concocted by the in-house chef at the fully-equipped kitchen across the living area. Additional seating is also provided by the long kitchen counter. Adjacent to the swim-up bar is a sunken lounge area where smaller groups can converse while enjoying cocktails, after-dinner or winding down drinks, or where you can also spend some alone time.
The villa has five bedrooms. The entire second floor of the main pavilion is devoted to La Sunset or the master suite. This bedroom has a king-sized bed as well as two dedicated bathrooms – one indoor and the other, outdoor. Both bathrooms have rain showers although the outdoor bathroom has a bathtub. The master bedroom opens out to a spacious terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the ocean. Two other bedrooms are on both sides of the ground floor. Both have king-sized beds as well as dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with outdoor rain showers. One bathroom, however, has an outdoor bathtub. Two more bedrooms are in two detached, semi-open, glass-walled pavilions at the far end of the swimming pool. Both have draped king-sized beds as well as dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with rain showers. Both bedrooms have direct access to the swimming pool and to the beach.
Staff And Services
Assigned to attend to the villa’s daily services is an efficient staff composed of a personal guest assistant, a pool attendant, a gardener as well as housekeepers and security personnel. In addition to the chef, a babysitter, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may, upon your request, be called in. However, their services will be charged separately. Bike and boat rentals are also available.
Around Villa Gili Bali Beach
Villa Gili Bali Beach is based on the island of Gili Trawangan. On the waters right in front of the villa, you can go snorkeling and, at times, even surfing. But you must also get onboard a boat and sail farther to see schools of colorful fish and bales of sea turtles, to dive as well as to go island hopping at nearby Gili Air and Gili Meno. Back in Gili Trawangan, you can also enjoy a variety of water sports like kayaking, kite surfing and paddle boarding. Make sure you also get to shop for souvenirs and sample local food at the Night Market At The Art Market. As the Party Island of the Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan has nightly parties. But the most popular shindigs are at the Shipwrecked Bar of the Tir Na Nog Irish Pub, Rudy’s Bar and Sama Sama Bar.
