Outdoor and Pool Area
Straight out of a fairytale, the tropical gardens are in fact the ‘Secret Garden’ you have always hoped to one day stumble upon. With overgrown climbers taking up most of the walls, there are exotic orchid flowers, dense bushes and thickets of trees shielding you from view and so you can enjoy a luxurious sunbath in your own time. Lying in the middle is the stunning 15-metre swimming pool, which is common to all the guests of the five villas. There is an excellent display of tropical foliage as well as manicured lawns on which kids can run around undeterred! Buddha statues and intricately-designed outdoor chairs, amidst lotus ponds are only a few of the pretty sights at the villa.
Villa Purwodadi, Villa Yogya, Villa Demak, Villa Bojonegoro, and Villa Kudus are the five, lavishly furnished and traditionally designed villas at Villa Kampung Kecil. Each of these individual villas features a living and dining area with comfortable sitting areas that overlook the splendid garden and pool. There are amenities like cable TV and surround sound fitted into these rooms as well, so you can entertain yourselves. The naturally lit and abundantly airy living spaces feature teakwood furniture, woodcarvings, and Balinese artefacts that are quite intriguing and bring the place to life.
Joglo-inspired structures with high-soaring ceilings and exposed wooden beams, furniture that includes daybeds and hand-crafted coffee tables will bring you even closer to Balinese culture than anything else. The dining areas are furnished with four- or six-seater dining table set against tropical vegetation so you can enjoy your dinners in style. Similarly, the well-equipped kitchens are ready for use and are fully-functional so you can make the most of your time at the villa.
Each villa signifies a different aspect of Indonesia’s various traditions and culture with natural teakwood Joglos. Villa Purwodadi, Villa Bojonegoro, and Villa Kudus are two-bedroom joglos, and Villa Yogya and Villa Demak are 1-bedroom joglos which make for romantic alternatives to the other more family-oriented villas. There are sofas and sitting for comfort as well as TVs for entertainment. There is a mix of king-sized, queen-sized, and single beds so guests can take their pick based on preference. All the eight bedrooms are air-conditioned.
