About Villa Orchids
Villa Orchids is a cluster of three pavilions that embody contemporary rustic elegance. Interiors are appointed with a blend of beautifully crafted, finely finished and woven wood furnishings, fixtures and pieces, as well as adorned with artworks and sculptures of differing sizes – all depicting traditional figures. Amenities are deliberately first rate – to assure each and every guest’s absolute convenience and diversion. Hidden in a traditional Balinese village, Villa Orchids accords you genteel living with a truly countryside and peaceful air.
Outdoor And Pool Area
Lateral to the villa’s main pavilion is the 15-meter swimming pool. Dip into its alluring, crystal clear seawater for some aimless wading, or for some playful splashing. If you wish to bathe, instead, in the sun, you can laze on brightly cushioned, woven wood pool beds partially covered by large and bright umbrellas on the main pavilion’s dark stone terrace.
The Living Area
At the center of the semi-open, spacious, airy and high-ceilinged main pavilion is the living area with its hefty and long, cushioned, woven wood couches. Here, you can all assemble for some amusing and animated sharing and storytelling. There are two dining areas. The indoor dining area – with its timber wood table for eight – is just by the poolside entrance of the main pavilion. The alfresco dining area – with its circular, wooden table also good for eight – is out on the expansive garden’s well-kept lawn by the swimming pool. At any of these dining areas, you can all feast on authentic Balinese cuisine – as well as your most-requested comfort food – concocted by the in-house chef at the fully-equipped, modern kitchen behind the living area. The kitchen also has a long counter which, provided with stools, also doubles as a bar. In another pavilion is the villa’s spa where you can ease aching muscles with a traditional Balinese massage accompanied by other pampering treatments.
The villa has three bedrooms. The Garden Suite is in a detached pavilion at the edge of the property. This bedroom has a canopied and draped king-sized bed, as well as a dedicated, semi-open bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and an outdoor rain shower. This bedroom also has direct access to the lawn. Two other bedrooms are on both wings of the main pavilion. One of these bedrooms – the Green Room – has a canopied and draped king-sized, while another bedroom – the Chocolate Room – has canopied and draped twin beds. Both have dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with free-standing bathtubs and outdoor rain showers. Both bedrooms also open out to the swimming pool.
Staff And Services
Assigned to attend to the villa’s daily services is a staff headed by a manager backed by a chef, a housekeeper, a gardener and a security corps. Upon your request, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may be called in. However, their services come with a separate charge. Bicycles may be used for free. Scooter and car rentals are available.
