About Villa Rumah Lotus
Set amidst the serene ambiance of the neighboring region of Ubud, Villa Rumah Lotus is a two-bedroom wellness and holiday retreat with a quiet and calm atmosphere where guests can feel at home and rest amidst the rice fields that surround the villa. The infinity-edge pool looks outwards to the lush greenery in the area, and so does the many outdoor bales that house lounging areas. Guests can lounge in the open-plan living pavilion or walk around the gardens for an enjoyable and relaxing time in the villa!
Outdoor and Pool Area
The well-landscaped outdoors at Villa Rumah Lotus are accented by lush gardens, abundant tropical foliage, a 15-metre infinity-edge swimming pool, and many sun chairs for lounging. As you relax on the loungers, breathe in the fresh air and bask under the tropical sun or take a refreshing dip in the pool while enjoying the view. The sprawling gardens have traditional thatched-roof bales which house a dining area where guests can relish their meals alfresco-style. Lotus ponds with koi fish and Buddha sculptures accentuate the beauty of the outdoor area at the villa as well.
Living Area
A striking open-plan living area has been furnished with the most comfortable couches, sofas, and daybeds from where you can directly enjoy the scenic beauty of Ubud’s many rare finds. The high-soaring alang-alang roof creates the authentic Balinese vibe that is much coveted as it lends the living pavilion an inviting and homely ambiance. The well-furnished and well-decorated room is located right behind the swimming pool for direct access. The walls are decorated with traditional artwork and indoor plants freshen up the air. Rattan daybeds make for additional lounging space for guests.
The open layout of the living pavilion allows you to spend time in the fresh and naturally lit area as much as you wish. There is even a dining and kitchen area that has been assigned for guests. A large eight-seater dining table with overhead lighting is at your disposal, so you can eat in style. Besides the dining table you will find the open kitchen, western-style complete with an island countertop and bar-stools. The kitchen is fully-equipped and fitted with modern appliances and amenities.
Bedrooms
The stunning master suites feature four-poster beds for the comfortable night’s sleep, flat-screen TV with DVD players for your entertainment, and a private porch with daybeds for lounging against the stunning view. The sheer-white drapes around the beds highlight the color scheme of the bedrooms, and the deep, dark wood furnishings add a luxurious ambiance.
The en-suite bathrooms each boast of a natural stone freestanding bathtub for the most lavish and tranquil baths, so don’t forget to take your bath bombs with you! If you wish you can choose to go for a shower outdoors amidst tropical foliage. The bedrooms, in fact, can be connected via the wardrobe area if in case you wish to convert them into a family compound!
Staff and Services
The villa has a kind and dedicated team to look after its guests, and they offer night-security, a personalized butler service, as well as regular housekeeping. Since the center of Ubud is only minutes away from the villa, there is a daily shuttle that will take you there and back.
