About Villa Samaki
Villa Samaki is located on a hilltop looking downwards towards the river valley from where it sits. The three-bedroom luscious holiday home is designed with teakwood pavilions that house the living and accommodation at the villa. For a traditionally Balinese experience, Villa Samaki is the perfect spot given its rich traditional décor and interiors as well as dense, green gardens with an infinity-edge swimming pool. The landscape of the gardens is truly remarkable and so are the individual bedrooms and the living area for a memorable time with family and friends.
Outdoor and Pool Area
Beyond the infinity edge of the 10-metre swimming pool resides the verdant gardens and the dense, tropical vegetation at Villa Samaki. As you splash and float around in the pool, you can breathe in a lungful of the fresh air and bask in the natural surroundings. Several sun chairs are kept on the pool deck under the shade of large parasols to keep you from the sun, unless you want to work up a glowing tan! A traditional bale houses two massage beds for a spa pavilion to relax your muscles and a luxurious massage. Another bale holds an alfresco dining area, to enjoy dining amidst your natural surroundings.
The verdure of the gardens can not only be enjoyed from the pool, but also from the rich and opulent living pavilion which is contained in a high-vaulted roofed pavilion featuring and alang-alang ceiling. The glass-paneled doors lead to the garden and allow the natural sunlight to illuminate the living area. The mint-green walls accentuate the old-world charm of the living area, and so does the handcrafted daybed with a four-poster design. Antique furnishing highlight the living room’s interiors along with exotic lighting for when the sun goes down.
Given the open-air feel, there is a dining table in the corner, which is suitable for six people. There are intriguing artefacts and things around the room to create a warm and comfortable space to retire to after a long day. Through a spiral staircase, one can reach the mezzanine lounge area which is equipped with lavish sofas, a home theater with surround-sound for a cozy corner. There is a writing desk with a music player as well, in case you wish to work up some tunes to create a nice ambiance.
