About Villa Taman Ahimsa
Villa Taman Ahimsa is essentially a wellness or yoga retreat, situated in the village of Cemangi near Canggu. A beachfront villa, it is made entirely of organic material featuring seashells, woodwork, and bamboo among other natural materials. With seven, wholly furnished, spacious and eco-friendly bedrooms, the villa is great for large parties who wish to reside in a place which is set apart from the city or the touristy beaches in Bali. A sprawling lawn and lush tropical greenery are incorporated magically into the serene and soothing ambiance of the villa.
Outdoor and Pool Area
A freeform, 18-metres long swimming pool with an infinity-edge greets you as you step outside the living pavilions. The pool looks out to the beach with its sandy shores and the ocean sparkling in the distance. The pool is surrounded by well-manicured gardens flush with tropical plants, flowers, trees, and bushes. On a raised pedestal, you will find a traditional gazebo with a daybed, sun loungers beside the pool, and another bale with more sitting so you have abundant space from where you can breathe in the fresh, sea breeze and gaze at the endless waters lying ahead. The lush greenery beckons those who wish for some meditative moments in the villa, which also houses lotus ponds.
Living Area
The two-storey villa is home to not one but quite a few living areas that are all furnished with additionally comfortable and cozy seating including bamboo chairs, sofas, and ottomans. One living area is more of an office or study space, with couches, a desktop and a proper desk. The main living pavilion is an open-concept design to let the room breathe as would you while you lounge on the sofas and the chairs. There are Balinese sculptures in the room along with other artefacts. Another living area is attached to one of the bedrooms, and can also be termed the media lounge with a wall-mounted TV and comfortable couches facing. Each of these wonderfully-decorated spaces exude a rustic and hospitable ambiance.
On the upper floor, you will find a small outdoor living space with bamboo chairs and daybed placed facing the rest of the property and the ocean. The dining areas are both open-air with a wooden framework rooftop that lets in abundant sunlight and fresh air. The first one is furnished with one long dining table and the second one with individual four-seater glass tables. The kitchen, unlike any other living space, is completely modern with all western amenities and stainless steel interiors.
Bedrooms
The seven bedroom pavilions at Villa Taman Ahimsa are spread across two floors, with two on the upper floor and the five remaining bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom is also on the main floor. All seven bedrooms are furnished with canopied king-sized beds and are traditionally designed with a circular structure resembling sleeping pods. There are floor-to-ceiling glass doors set in a wooden framework, from where you can get a panoramic view of the ocean or the lush greenery.
The rooms also have armchairs and hand-carved writing desks, with authentic and organic writing pads. Each of the seven en-suite bathrooms is a garden bathroom with private gardens in the back. They are fitted with natural stone bathtubs that are freestanding. Each of the bedrooms is named after a chakra within the human body, making it a wholesome experience.
Staff and Services
A luxurious stay at Villa Taman Ahimsa is only complete with the help of its staff that includes the villa manager, chefs, housekeepers, groundskeepers and others. The staff can arrange for babysitting and transportation on your behalf, if desired at an additional charge.

The villa is self-sufficient as it offers everything you could need for your tropical adventure as it directly accessible from the beach just below the property. The village of Cemangi is near Canggu which is famous for its rice fields. Seseh beach can be another great spot for you to hangout and sunbathe at and if you go a little further, then you can find several of the restaurants in Canggu that offer delectable seafood BBQ!
